WRONG!
Virus sinusitis, such as a common cold, usually starts out with clear to whitish nasal discharge, then turns to a thicker greenish or yellowish discharge as the nose starts to produce cells to fight the infection. The greenish color is a good sign that the body is fighting the infection, and usually indicates that improvement is soon to follow. Antibiotics should not be used to treat colds, since viruses are not affected by antibiotics, and giving these drugs could be dangerous.
